23 to 29 JulA quiet week apart from the very strenuous work that a conversion entails. Several games of Soft Ball have been played and the barracking is well worth listening to as there are none of the opposite sex present to curb the somewhat lurid flow of well meaning and at times appropriate adjectives.Squadron Routine Orders Nos. 70/44, 71/44 & 72/44.During the week the following reported for duty : Lieut. SMIT (observer); 2/Lts. de KOCK & DOWNING (pilots).The C.O. Lt. Col. A.C. JANDRELL, D.F.C. flew Col. A.J. MOSSOP, O.C. 3 Wing, to BARI as the latter is returning to the Union on sick leave.
