21 Squadron War Diary
2240 hrs Pescara, Italy
Col. VILJOEN visited the Squadron in the course of his tour of inspection. He was entertained to tea in the Adjutant’s gharry by the O.C. He enquired as to whether this Squadron had any moans. What a question ! Why it is the one privilege one has in the Service. However, there were no moans of major importance and it is presumed that he left the Squadron, feelingas we feel, that all is well within. Another air raid alarm at 22.40 hours, all clear 10 minutes later. This sort of thing is becoming rather monotonous. Capt. HAMLET, Lt. de KOCK, 2/Lts BOYCE, DORE & de JAGER reported for duty.
