Large number of own transport moving forward to Bombline with headlights on.
First aircraft off experienced transmitter failure and returned to base. Bombs were jettisoned from 2000 ft. at 2035 hrs at N151X The other aircraft had no difficulty in locating the road, but saw NO movement. The road was attacked as follows: - i) 24 x 40 lbs at C 9832 (Latitude :** 37.97974° **Longitude :** 15.11628°**) and 2 flares. ii) 16 x 40 lbs at C 9824 (Latitude :** 37.90763° **Longitude :** 15.11515°**), bombs bursting across a light near the road. iii) 8 x 40 lbs at C 9930. (Latitude :** 37.9616° **Longitude :** 15.12738 °**) iv) 8 x 40 lbs at C 9842 (Latitude :** 38.0699° **Longitude :** 15.11769°**) and 1 flare. v) 8 x 40 lbs at D 0031 (Latitude :** 37.9705° **Longitude :** 15.13891°**). vi) 8 x 40 lbs at C 9939 (Latitude :** 38.04274° **Longitude :** 15.12867°**). vii) 8 x 40 lbs at C 9941 (Latitude :** 38.06077° **Longitude :** 15.12895°**) viii) 8 x 40 lbs at D 0043 (Latitude :** 38.07868° **Longitude :** 15.14064°**) Bombs seen to explode.
