Captain ORD led a formation of 12 Baltimores to attack gun positions 2½ miles NORTH of SFERO. Successful raid. Bombs fell in target area. NO A.A. or fighters. "Oprep" No.356, Sortie Report and Crew List.The Commanding Officer and Lt. BLIEDEN returned from BEN HAGEN, accompanied by another four Baltimores. All our aircraft are now based on MALTA.
