Rear Party 58 R.T.U's, A.P.C's and non signees left for CASTEL BENITO. Eleven airmen who were posted to No. 1 R.S.U., S.A.A.F. left for CAP BON. Six aircraft with the remainder of aircrews were flown over to MALTA. Lieuts. HERRING, SACHS and PICKERILL, three observers who were reported missing on the 3rd of July, 1943 reported back after a very adventurous spell of absence. Interrogation Report. Appendix.An additional 14 ground personnel left by D.C.3 aircraft for MALTA. Instructions were issued by the Adjutant that everybody had to be ready on the night of the 30th, for the anticipated move on the 31st. All tents were to be struck and loaded.
