SQUADRON ROUTINE ORDERS. No. 26/44. 21 SQUADRON, S.A.A.F.ByLT. COL. A. C. JANDRELL, D.F.C.Officer Commanding,21 Squadron, S.A.A.F.27th March, 1944.Para. 99. SICK PARADE:As from the date of this Order, personnel wishing to reportsick must hand their names into the Medical Tent between 08.30 and08.45 hours and not to the Orderly Room as formerly. Sick Parade isat 09.00 hours daily.Para. 100. FIRE PRECAUTIONS:Airmen wearing gloves, bandages or other absorbent materialswhich have become soaked with petrol in the course of their duties areto take strict precautions against contact with naked lights until thepetrol has completely dried out.Recently an airman with a bandage on his hand lit a cigaretteafter filling a car and suffered serious burns owing to the petrolsoaked bandage catching fire. Absence of mind in such circumstances mayamount to negligence, and prejudice any right to a pension in respectof the injuries sustained. (A.R.O. No. 10, para. 86. dated 10.3.44)Para. 101. SHOWERS:Shower baths have been erected adjacent to the Hygiene sectionof Wing Headquarters and Wednesdays have been allocated to 21 Squadron.ON Sundays the showers are allocated to N. M. C details of 21Squrdron between the hours of 14.00 and 18.00 hours.Para. 102. CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM A. V. M.
