Squadron.F/Sgt. Metcalf was Commissioned and appointed, EngineerOfficer, of this Squadron.All W/T Air Gunners reported to 3 Wing for an interview witha Commissioning Board. Four Aircrew Members and one R.A.F.ground crew, reported for duty. Squadron Routine Order 60/43.25thLt. Col. Britz assumed his duties as Officer Commanding thisSquadron. Capt. Schoch was cleared from this Station andproceeded to No. 3 Wing, as Engineer Officer. 2nd. Lieut.Metcalf took over the duties of Squadron Engineer Officer.Lt. Col. de Vos and Major Turnbull, visited 3 Wing in con-nection with inter Squadron posting and R.T.U. Personnel.Squadron Routine Order No. 61/43.26thMaj. Gen. Theron, paid the Sergeant's Mess a social visit.He congratulated the Sergeant's on their part played in thewar and expressed the wish, that the Huns would be knockedout soon.27thMaj.
