NO. 42 to 47 /21/M A. : 23 Marauders airborne from PESCARA to attack an Enemy strongpoint bounded by pinpoints S. 084812 – 092804 – 075796 068805, an area about 2100 x 1100 yards three miles west of PESARO. Combining with other units six formations (three of 4 A/C and two of 3 A/C and one of 5 A/C ) were over the target at 0941, 1024, 1100, 1237, 1315 and 1351 hrs respectively and photographs taken during the bombing show the target area well covered with 500 and 250 lbs. fragmentation bombs and thousands of 20lbs frag. bombs.
