No. 39 to 41/21/M. : 12 Marauders, each loaded with 6 x 500 and 4 x 250 lbs. frag. bombs, briefed to attack enemy strongpoints near PESARO in area bounded by S.062792 - 060776 - 056774 - 054792. First two boxes of four A/C each bombed at 1700 and 1711 hrs respectively, both straddled centre of target area with wide and long patterns. Third box bombed at 1724 hrs. and undershot slightly pattern commencing outside but finishing well into eastern portion of the target area. Third formation only encountered slight inaccurate H.A.A. No cloud, but visibility very hazy in area. Last A/C down by 1810 hrs.
