One direct hit and two near misses claimed on fortifi- cations that were shaped like E.P.I.P. tents; one stick across A.A. post of 4 batteries. Flash, smoke and dust seen and guns ceased firing for short time. E. Seven aircraft holed by H.A.A. (150 holes) all repairable at unit. F. Two Observers received minor cuts from shrapnel splinters. G. Unknown H. (1) 1437 hours L.T. (ii) 46 hours 30 mins. J. Fine K. Light Ack Ack, inaccurate low. H.A.A. intense and accurate.
