Attack took place at 1039 hrs. on a course of 250° from 10500'. Patterns of 1st and 3rd Boxes well-covered the target area. The second Box, due to the leaders bombsight giving trouble on approach, had a left lateral error of 150 yards. Direct hits were scored on buildings in the target vicinity. Accurate, intense H.A.A. were encountered in the battle area. Four aircraft were holed - Cat I. Weather; target clear with 10/10ths Altostratus at 18000'. Visibility; fair.
