Benghazi: High level bombing Railway sheds.NARRATIVE. After leaving the Frontier wire about 100 miles behindon their outward course, the formation was approachedby about eight enemy Fighters. The formation turnedto port and climbed, and then turned again on course.A few minutes later the rear Gunner again reported theFighters at 3000 yards on port beam. The Leaderdecided to abandon the operation, and returned.13 M.T. were seen, parked, at T V 0256, Libyan grid,and 9 M.T. moving South alongside the wire 12 milesSouth of Maddelena.WEATHER. Fine.TIMES.
