This sortie report serves as a stark reminder that the war was a global effort; while the spotlight shifted to France, the pressure on the German army in Italy had to be maintained to prevent Kesselring from sending reinforcements north. * Tactical Bombing (Area Denial): * Delayed Action Fuses: Section F details a specific and sinister ordnance mix: "6 x 500 fused ...
