BD 5 A/C briefed to bomb area SOUTH of MARETH-ZARET road and 5
A/C briefed to bomb the area NORTH of WADI ZIGZAOU to ZARET.
Bombing runs were made on courses from 320 deg. to 058 deg.
over this area. All the bombs were seen to fall in the target
area but observation of results was obscured by ground haze.
BE 5 A/C report slight inaccurate H.A.A. mostly to starboard and
behind A/C.

2 flashes seen from YE 5598

BH One white light seen WEST of main GABES road and WEST of MARETH
when first A/C entered target area, but this was later extinguish
