MOVEMENT ORDER NO. 1 BY MAJOR J. PRETORIUS OFFICER COMMANDING, NO. 21 SQUADRON, S.A.A.F. Nakuru Air Station, 26th June 1941. 1. MAPS: Nil 2. INFORMATION: The undermentioned flying officers of this squadron will proceed to CAIRO by road and air on 29 JUNE 1941, departing from NAKURU AIR STATION at ~~1000~~ [Handwritten correction below: 0900] hrs, for transfer to another squadron. 3. INTENTION: The flying officers detailed below will report to lieut.col.Hingeston, Hdqrs., R.A.F., Middle East immediately on their arrival in Cairo; 103327 2/Lieut. Daniels is detailed officer in charge of party. The party will leave Nakuru Air Station at 0900 hrs. on 29.6.41 for KISUMU by road. They will leave Kisumu by flying-boat for CAIRO the following morning. 5. Baggage: Individual baggage for each officer is not to exceed 40 lbs. Excess baggage will be dispatched by the first transport available (surface) 6. S. & T. Allowances: S. and T. allowances for 5 days will be drawn in advance. Rations for M. T. personnel will be drawn from the mess concerned. 7. Transport: Sufficient transport to accommodate officers and their baggage, together with fuel for transport, is to be provided by Station Transport Officer. M. T. Drivers will return immediately after bringing officers to KISUMU. 8. Route Forms: Route forms covering the move, together with a copy of this movement order, will be handed to officer in charge of party, for submission on arrival at Cairo to Headquarters, R.A.F., Middle East Command.
