The Past Year - One of hard campaigning in the burning sands of the Desert has impressed one with the aptness of our chosen motto "ONOORWINLIK - INVINCIBLE" Not all of those splendid fellows who contributed towards our achievements are in our midst now. Some of them have made the Supreme Sacrifice. To Them the Squadron will be forever indebted and their memory will be undying. Others have returned from the Field, their tasks well and truly performed. They also have contributed, playing their parts right nobly in the Annals of Our Squadron. It remains for me to thank you, one and all, for the splendid way in which you also have contributed to the very fine traditions which SQUADRON TWENTY-ONE has built up. Men may come, and they may go; but I can confidently say that TWENTY-ONE built up on the efforts of the past will, through the present, be sustained to greater strength and achievements in the future until final Victory is won. My very good wishes go out to you. I have complete confidence in each and all of you, because I know that you will ensure that SQUADRON TWENTY-ONE will ever maintain its well earned tradition.
