12 Marauders (4-4-4) airborne from JESI L/G between 0745-0940 hrs to attack Pillboxes in an area near PORTO MAGGIORE, with 500 and 250 demo fused bombs. Formation bombed at 0855 hrs. on a course of appr. 300º from 12000'. The first and third boxes; all bombs in target area, direct hits on buildings and roads. The second box had an undershoot with over 50% of bombs in target area. No enemy opposition. Weather; target clear, visibility hazy.
