Airborne from BIFERNO at 12.50 hrs, the formation attacked at 13.48 hrs in two boxes of six, line astern, from 12,300'/13,000' on a course of 355º/010º, respectively. First box dropped a short stick from G500728 to G502730, with at least three direct hits on road at G501729. Second box undershot slightly, pattern from G499724 to G499728 – direct hits on RR line and building at G498728 and one or two hits on road. Visibility was good and no enemy opposition encountered. Area cover was provided. All A/C landed by 14.35 hrs.
