Air defences: One search light North of BIANCI, beam pointing horizontally out to sea. Slight light ack ack from along road; Intense light ack ack from ZUARA; 1 heavy ack ack gun from ZUARA; All inaccurate.
Results: Saw gun flashes South of AGELAT. Saw ship with lights on 3 miles off ZUARA, Fair number of M.T. alongside roads. Oxygen: None available.

A stick of six bombs, dropped at P 8063 started two fires. The rest of the bombs which started two more fires were dropped singly and in sticks between PISIDA and SABRATHA. One fire from cross-roads at ZUARA was seen for 10 minutes after leaving target. Lt-Col. Coppen ground strafed from 500 ft. No results observed.
