7 A/c took off from JESI L/G at 1027 Hrs. to bomb the PIERIS R.R. BRIDGE at H558911. After R/v at BELLARIA with 10 Spitfires they set course for target at 1107 Hrs. behind 30 Squadron. Attack took place at 1147 Hrs. in clear visibility. The leader of the 1st Box had a partial hang-up only one bomb leaving the racks. The other A/c in the leading box dropped on the leaders bomb, pattern overshooting from H559914 to H562917. The Bombsight of the 2nd Box's leader went U/s over the target and the A/c bombed individually, all overshooting from H557912 to H559913. One A/c had a complete hang-up due to bomb doors failing to open and jettisoned bombload at sea 150º Venice 40. Slight H.A.A. from Target area after bombing, inaccurate. All A/c landed by 1312 hrs.
