12 Marauders (4-4-4) airborne between 1145 – 1355 hrs. from JESI L/G to attack a 29th Panzer Div. concentration with a central pp at M260635 near ARGENTA in support of the 56th London Div. Formation bombed at 1300 Hrs. on courses 240º, 315º and 340º at a height of 10,000'. Due to experiencing difficulty with bomb sight, first box did two dummy runs and eventually overshot by about 1000 yards; one A/c did not release and brought bombs back. Second and third boxes straddled briefed area with good overlapping patterns. Moderate inaccurate H/A/A encountered target area. Weather; target clear, visibility hazy.
