12 Baltimores took off from BIFERNO L/G at 1354 Hrs to attack SUPPLY DUMPS in area F882955 to F905930. They set course at 1425 Hrs with an escort of 12 Spitfires and bombed at 1500 Hrs from 12100' on a course of 320º. Stick fell in target area from F890945 to F885949 with NO apparent results. 1 x 500 hung-up over target and was dropped near SULMONA bridge on return without results. There was NO cloud over target area, and visibility was good except for slight haze. NO enemy opposition was encountered. All a/c landed by 1555 Hrs.
