12 Baltimores airborne from BIFERNO at 1418 Hrs. to attack BLINISTA Town (L. 2621). No fighter escort materialised and formation set course from VIS unescorted at 1521 Hrs. Attack took place at 1550 Hrs from 12000' on a course of 358º in good visibility. Main pattern of the 1st box from L268214 to L266210, one explosion and black smoke. Pattern of second box from L268209 to L268213. Both boxes scored several direct hits on road. The village consists of five or six houses only, which appear to be gutted. No movements in area. No enemy opposition. All A/C landed by 1655 hrs.
