Target easily identified in good visibility. Leader turned in and made a short bombing run. Bombs overshot to N.N.E. of target falling on a side of hills G861972 to G864973 without apparent results. Both boxes bombed on leader. 2 x 500 lbs dropped between river bed and railway G861968 causing a column of white smoke 200' high.
