Bombing: Medium level bombing attack from 8000 ft. 36 x 250 lb. GP 43 Det. (Rods)
Air defences: H.A.A and L.A.A. fairly intense and fairly accurate over target area. Approx. 10 guns in plantation at TZ 1455 4 guns at TZ 2435.
Results: (i) 50 - 60 MT well dispersed in wadi SOUTH of L.G. (ii) Approx. 100 MT moving mostly NORTH to GABES on Main road. (iii) Hospital at TZ 1571. (iv) One train with 8 trucks seen on track crossing at TZ 70 N. Heading NORTH with no steam up. (v) Cloud of dust (too far to observer any particulars of movement) at TZ 2335.

Bombed on box leader. Bombs fell in a good pattern among dispersed A/C in blast shelters on the SE dispersal area of the L.G. Bombing stick started EAST of the wadi and also across the main road (WEST of the L.G.) Near miss by one bomb on large A/C. Near miss on A/C in and out of blast shelters. Two hits on road SW of L.G.
