12 Baltimores (two of which returned early with bomb load owing to engine trouble) took off from PESCARA to bomb a road junction at M024415. Attack took place at 1728 hrs from 12500' on a course of 005º. First box dropped a stick from M029413 to M029421, right lateral error straddling secondary road. Second box also had a lateral error to the right from M029411 to M031416. Slight H.A.A. inaccurate from MONTEVAICHI?. All A/c returned by 1832 hrs. 8/10th strata-cu. over mountains, 4/10ths in target area from 8000' to 12000'. Area cover was provided by Spitfires.
