12 Marauders (4-4-4) airborne from JESI L/G between 0755 - 0955 hrs. to attack M/T and Mobile Reserves of the 29th Panzer Division app. 2 miles S.E. of PORTO MAGGIORE. Formation bombed at 0910 hrs on a course of 240º from 11500'. The target area was well covered from North to South by patterns of all three boxes. Direct hits were scored on buildings in target area and hits and near misses on road running through the target. The second box encountered moderate fairly accurate HAA from target area. Three A/c holed – Two Cat I, One Cat II. Weather; Target clear, visibility hazy.
