OPERATION No. 207/21/M One Marauder airborne between 1030 - 1216 from JESI L/G and flew with three others (24, 30, 12 Squadrons) on a SHORAN Raid led by 24 Squadron to attack a RR Bridge at M304778. The Box attacked at 1039 hrs on a course of 299º from 12000'. Pattern fell with a slight overshoot, beginning of pattern straddled the bridge. HAA slight, fairly accurate, encountered in target area. Weather; target clear, visibility hazy. OPERATION No. 208/21/M 12 Marauders airborne from JESI L/G between 1615 - 1835 hrs. to attack enemy Stores and Equipment at M210824 - M214821 - M213819 - M208821. Formation bombed at 1724 - 1732 hrs. on a course of 350º from 10,000'. The first box after a dummy run had a slight undershoot and left lateral error +- 50% of bombs in target area. D/hits on buildings. The second box had right lateral error bombs falling in open country. The third box overshot with a slight left lateral error – no bombs in target. Direct hits were scored on buildings East of the target. Heavy AA, slight inaccurate encountered in target area. Weather, target clear - 8/10ths Cirrus at 18000'. Vis. hazy - 10 miles.
