1700 hrs Tortorella, Italy
The final lap of our long journey to-day. The convoy arrived at the new Camp TORTORELLA Aerodrome, FOGGIA at about 17.00 Hrs. The O.C. who had arrived by air the previous day, visited the Camp and received reports on progress made by the two parties. The various sites were indicated and instructions issued to the effect that the minimum distance between tents would be 100 yards.
