Twelve Baltimores took off at 10.55 Hrs. in order to follow a Boston Squadron, to attack troops and guns, when however, reaching a point approximately fifteen miles NORTH of STROMBOLI, the leader turned back and jettisoned his bombs, as he had been recalled.
