1030 hrs La Coulette
Rear partyAt 1030 Hrs. the Convoy of 13 barges, escorted by 6 sub-chasers sailed for SICILY. It was a real picturesque sight, to see the 13 barges sail in three rows and one trailing behind and the whole Convoy led by a sub-chaser. The sea was very calm and consequently it was very smooth sailing. It was not until the night that the sea became slightly rough and the barges were rocking quite a bit.
