APPENDIX "B"257SQUADRON ROUTINE ORDERS. No. 97/44. 21 SQUADRON. S.A.A.F.ByLT. COL. D. ORD. D.F.C.Officer Commanding,21 Squadron. S.A.A.F.19th October, 1944.Para. 344. FISHING:No fishing is allowed in the lake within the camp lines.Para. 345. PETROL FIRES:Owing to the danger of fire to domestic tents, and as a security measure, all petrol fires are prohibited within the camp lines.Para. 346. ONE - WAY TRAFFIC:All drivers of M. T. vehicles will comply with traffic signs erected in the camp.Para. 347. SPEED LIMIT:The speed limit inside this camp will be 5 miles per hour.Para. 348. DRESS:All ranks are again warned that they must be properly dressed when walking out, special attention is directed to the wearing of headgear.Para. 349. MALARIA:All ranks are reminded that this district is highly malarious and the necessary anti-malaria precautions must be rigidly adhered to.Para. 350. FIELD GENERAL COURT MARTIAL:1025123 L.A.C. Oldfield, H. of No. 18 Squadron, R.A.F. was on 20th September, 1944 found guilty by Field General Court Martial of being in improper possession of an aircraft clock and five items of rations.He was sentenced to 63 days Field Punishment.The Finding and Sentence have been confirmed.(A.R.O. Ser. No. 39. para. 351 dd. 7.10.44)Para. 351. CAMP LIGHTING:It is permitted to have one electric light per tent, provided the necessary material is obtained and approved by the Electrician in charge.The installation of these lights will be carried out by the Electrician and no other person.(Signature: Rautenbach) LT.
