Great care must be taken that the background of a photograph doesnot contain any prohibited matter.3. Disciplinary action will be taken against personnel contraveningthis order, and cameras used are liable to confiscation.(G.R.O. Ser. 79. Order No. 61. dd. 22 Jan. 44Para. 42. PAYMENT OF INSURANCE PREMIUMS UNDER STOP ORDER SYSTEM.S.A.A.F. (M.E.F.) G.R.O. 1249/43. is amended by the deletion ofparas. (iii) and (iv) and the substitution of the following:-(iii) Desertion or Absence Without Leave in excess of 21 days.No recovery will be made or paid over with effect from themonth in which desertion or absence without leave in excess of 21 days isnotified to the Chief Paymaster through the proper channels.(iv) Application for Reinstatement of Stop Order.In cases where released details, deserters or absentees with-out leave for a period in excess of 21 days, return to duty, and are desir-ous of continuing with the payment of insurance premiums by deductions from theirmilitary pay, it will be necessary for these details to apply in writing tothe Chief Paymaster through the proper channels for reinstatement of therelative stop order, such application to be supported by an advice from hisO.C., that the amount has been entered in his paybook, when the matter willbe submitted to the insurance company concerned. If the stop order isreinstated, it will become effective from a date to be notified by the ChiefPaymaster.(G.R.O. Ser. 79. Order No. 66 dd. 22. Jan. 44).Para. 43. KIT - PERSONNEL ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL.Cases are still occurring of personnel admitted to hospital notbeing in possession of necessary kit, particularly respirators. Respirators,anti-gas equipment and steel helmet MUST be taken by all ranks. During thewinter, the following items are ESSENTIAL for personnel admitted to HOSPITAL.1. Steel helmet, respirator and anti-gas equipment.2. Greatcoat & Field Service Cap. 3. Knife, fork, spoon and mug.4. Toothbrush, shaving brush, razor and soap. 5. Hairbrush and/or comb.6. One towel. 7. One suit of heavy duty dress. 8. One pair Boots & An9. One suit of underwear. 10. One Shirt. 11. One pair of socks.Items not mentioned in the above list may be taken to hospital butin view of the possibility of patients being evacuated by air these should bekept to a minimum.(Signature illegible) LT.
