This was an important day for the Squadron, as our new Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Britz, reported for duty. Lieut. A’Bear, left for CASTEL BENITO by air, on posting as a Transport Pilot, to No. 28 S.A.A.F Squadron. F/Sgt Metcalf was Commissioned and Appointed, Engineer Officer of this Squadron.All W/T Air Gunners reported to 3 Wing for an interview with a Commissioning Board. Four Aircrew members and one R.A.F ground crew, reported for duty. Squadron Routine Order 60/43.
