NO. 21 SQUADRON, S. A. A. F.7th. March 1943.SERTAIN MAIN, | 7th. Contd.we get the word to move at 05.30 hrs. The heads of all sectionsmet in the Adjutants office this afternoon to discuss the move.There will be about 65 vehicles including trailers and motor-cycles.in the convoy.8th.No operational flying today but the Squadron aircraft were flownto El Assa in the afternoon. Oprep. No. 219.We did not get the word at 0530 but at 11.30. The convoy movesoff at 06.00 hrs. tomorrow morning. We will probably have troublebeyond Tripoli as we can move at certain times only and we have toget our routing from there. Major Hunt returned this afternoonin the midst of packing up.9th.No operational flying today. Oprep. No. 220.Lt. Chisholm admitted to 25 M.R.S. at El Assa suffering from flu.The convoy (65 Vehicles) got away right on time. Half way toZliten it got held up by a huge convoy that was just moving offAppendix.
