Squadron on stand-by but no operational flying. Eighteen aircraft engaged on training and R/T testing. Wing advises that Field Marshal SMUTS will be paying the Wing a short visit tomorrow.Oprep No. 149‍

Return to Discipline (Training & Parades): The entry for November 20th marks a shift from post-battle relaxation back to military rigour. The order for "intensive training to commence forthwith and for daily parades to be held" suggests the command was concerned about discipline slipping during the lull. This "square bashing" (drill) was typical when combat units were pulled off the line for refitting.
