Further information having been received regarding the crash of Captain RHODES' aircraft on 27.10.42, a second search party was sent out early this morning. The crash was located but it was found impossible to identify anything beyond the type of aircraft. No flying: Oprep No. 146Routine Order No. 56/42Arrangements having been made for an Inter-Squadron Athletic Meeting in the Wing, the Squadron decided to hold a meeting to select its representatives. This commenced at 15.00 hours and continued until dark. The start was delayed by a dust storm and the events not run off today were postponed until tomorrow afternoon.
