No flying today, the cause presumably being the lack of a target. Oprep No. 134Message of Congratulations from Field Marshal SMUTS and reply by Major General F.H.THERONInstructions received from No. 3 Wing for our Advanced Control Party consisting of 12 details comprising a skeleton crew for topping up purposes, to move forward at dawn tomorrow. The destination is not stated but it would seem that the original intention of moving to one of the HANEISH 'dromes has been abandoned owing to the rapidity of Jerry's retreat which is now turning into a rout.
