Col. Willmott, O.C. 3 S.A. Wing paid an informal visit to this unit, during “48 hours leave from the desert”.A representative of Air Force signals, appropriately equipped with motor-cycle, called in in the late afternoon to make enquiries regarding our requirements for telephones, exchanges etc. in this area. These were given to him.
