OPERATION No. 149/21S/M.

A : 9 Marauders in three Vics off from Jesi L/G by 1400 hrs. to attack
rolling stock in the MONSANTA M/Yards of GORIZIA G.718072).
Each A/C carried a bombload of 6 x 500 and 4 x 250 lbs (Frag.fused)
and, after r/v with a close escort of 6 Spits at Porto Corsini
set course at 1445 hrs. and bombed at 1530 hrs from 11-12000'
on a course of approximately 050°. Patterns of all boxes resulted
in right error, sticks falling across narrow southern entrance
to M/Yards, with some d/hits on tracks leading to main sidings
and sheds. No enemy opposition. All A/C down by 1648 hrs.
Weather: Target clear and visibility good.
