Para. 41. PHOTOGRAPHY IN PROHIBITED AREAS.
1. Cases are occurring of service personnel taking photographs in
prohibited areas and key points.
The following must not be photographed:-
(i) Naval, military or air force works and bulidings such as
fortifications, airfields, batteries, searchlights, camps,
cantonments, bivouacs, defended posts and vulnerable points.
(ii) Arsenals, munition and supply depots and all estab-
lishments or yards performing work of national defence.

* Gunnery Leader (Capt. A.P. Hall): Similarly, Capt. Hall is promoted to lead the squadron's defensive gunners ("Offr.A/G"). This confirms why a Captain was listed in a gunner's position in Appendix G; he was likely assessing the gunnery crews in combat.
* Observer Corps: The mass promotion of Rabinowitz, Rive, Meltz, Barnes, and Jansen from 2nd Lieutenant to Lieutenant (T/Lt) highlights the maturation of this cohort of Observers, all of whom appear regularly in the month's Sortie Reports.
