N O T I C E S.
SPRINGBOK CLUB:- Do you know that there is a club for all SPRINGBOKS in CATANIA. You are always welcome - A place to leave your things when shopping - a place to eat your Rations and get a Cup of tea - a place to sit and listen to Music - later there will be billiards and other games also two hard tennis courts, there are two SHOWERS on the premises. It is requested you take your own mug and towel. The Club is situated near 25 M.F.H. in the next house to the R.A.F. DENTAL CENTER, right opposite the Central Car Park - Please park Vehicles in the Car Park.
UNITED SERVICES CLUB:- Located at the Old UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS - VIA ETNA, CATANIA - is there for the use of all Other Ranks.
Top floor is for W.O's and Sergeants - where there are also games Rooms, Billiards Room, etc.
1st. Floor is for Corporals and A/M's with similar facilities.
Ground floor - the Y.M.C.A. runs a Canteen, Lemonade, Tea and Cakes can be obtained, Lectures and Music etc. at certain times.
The E.F.I. CANTEEN further up the hill is open to all ranks. Tea, Lemonade, Cakes are served. MUSIC
ENTERTAINMENT IN CATANIA:- FROM FRIDAY 17th. September 1943 - For One Week.
ODEAN CINEMA - "Talk of the Town" (Ronald Colman) Times: at 11.00 - 14.30 - 17.30 Hours.
EXCELSIOR CINEMA:- "Big Street" (Henry Fonda, Lucille Ball) Times as Above.
MONDAY, 20th. Sept. 43 - UNITED SERVICE CLUB - Italian Theatrical party at 15.00 hours.
All these Entertainments are FREE - you must take your chance in the queue.
